At LEO, my results are explained to me.
You can do your bloodwork with us. We run urgent tests on site, all other analyses go to our partner lab labors.at.
We go through the results with you and answer your questions without medical jargon.
What we do
Blood tests, e.g. for preventive medical examinations (health checks)
Acute laboratory: We determine values that are needed quickly directly on site.
Urine and stool tests: You hand in the sample to us, and we take care of the analysis.
Further analyses via our partner laboratory labors.at.
Public or private insurance?
Whatever is medically necessary is usually covered by your insurance. If you'd like values tested without a medical reason, that's a private service. We'll tell you beforehand what it costs, and also openly what is necessary.
Getting ready for your blood test
Fasted: For some parameters, such as blood sugar or blood lipids, please come fasting: don't eat beforehand, water is fine. We'll let you know in advance whether you need to.
Medication: Ask us beforehand whether to take your medication as usual before the blood test.
Please bring: your e-card and, if you have one, your referral.
Schedule an appointment
Do you have a referral from a specialist or from the hospital? Then book an appointment for a blood draw directly. Would you like to have a blood count done? Then we will first clarify in a medical consultation which values make sense. A blood draw is only covered by health insurance if medically necessary; privately it is possible at any time. If you are visiting us for the first time, please select "New Patient".
